Slot-Opening Bluebird House

Made of Eastern White Pine for years of service, this Kentucky style Bluebird House has a horizontal slot opening,  as opposed to the traditional round entrance hole. In some cases, this type of opening may be less attractive to House Sparrows. In addition, the box is only 5" deep, which is also thought to be less attractive to House Sparrows. Comes with a wooden insert to reduce depth further if Sparrows continue to be a problem. Easy to clean, well-insulated, provides proper drainage and ventilation. Includes an educational brochure.
